…because everything is Vital.

It can be done

Somebody said that it couldn’t be done,
But he, with a chuckle, replied
That maybe it couldn’t, but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till be tried.
So he buckled right in, with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried, he hid it,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never do that:
At least it has never been done,”
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he’d begun it,
With the lift of his chin, and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you, one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you;
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin,
Then take off your coat and go to it;
Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing,
That cannot be done and you’ll do it.

  1. I had to post this poem just on it’s own.

    It simply rocks!

    I cannot tell you how many times things appeared for me more difficult at first, however, once I get into the project, and afterward look back and realize, it just seemed more difficult.

    I remember the first time I got to the top of the beginner ski run and could not imagine or understand how anyone could ever ski down that steep of a hill without dying. Since then, I have skied down steep mountains and absolutely loved it.

    The Nike slogan is genius.

    Nothing is impossible God willing.

    No regrets.

  2. This is a great message for all of us who struggle to trust in ourselves
    With God all things are possible and He teaches us to take one day at a time…stay in the present and tust that He will never leave nor forsake us…He is our greatest cheerleader…we can move mountains with faith….taking His daily sufficient Grace and move forward and then turn around and see how He went before us and made smooth our path.
    None of this means that our lives wiill be without trial or heartache, just that the ONE who is our Creator and lover of our souls, is our refuge and strength every step of the way. So, don’t ever give up on yourself or on your Lord….

    From a friend…JUST DO IT!!!!
